Artist's Description

Secular Buddhist people are encouraged to practice meditation for the purpose of stilling the mind. The most suitable places for this kind of practice are meditation centers. Here, the meditating woman is entangled around the purple mosquito net to avoid any distraction and focus only on her breath. There are many centers across South East Asia conducting meditation courses to foreigners. Here, Phnom Sambok Pagoda, near the town of Kratie, Cambodia / Aug 2019.
